20th Tablet Deduster
Technical
Development Corporation, a Huntersville, North Carolina
manufacturer of custom machinery for the fiber optic and medical
industries, has shipped over 20 tablet dedusters to locations in
the United States and Canada.
The
Deduster is a portable tablet-cleaning device, for use in
pharmaceutical plants. The
simple design assures ease of use by plant personnel.
A minimal number of component parts are used in the
sturdy construction. The
DeDuster is constructed primarily of 316L stainless steel.
Other materials are FDA approved.
To allow
for fast and easy assembly, components interlock.
That means no tools are required for set-up, operation or
clean-up. This also
reduces time lost searching for the right tools.
The
DeDuster thoroughly cleans tablets by sending them through a
specially-designed stepped cleaning table.
As the tablets pass by the air assist and vacuum, they
roll over continuously, completing the cleaning process.
Other
DeDuster features:
- 3-leg
base keeps machine level
- Window
for visual inspection
- Physical
inspection is easily achieved through swinging lid
- Compact
entry and exit heights allow for use of large totes
- Only
a light pull on release handle needed to remove Upper
section from machine
- Easy
height adjustment through gas strut
- Main
cover held in place with thumb screws for easy removal
- Motor
section can be removed from base by removing one pin
- 115
volts, 60 Hertz
At
only 98 pounds, the DeDuster is easily moved from one room to
another, using two straight casters and one retractable swivel
caster.

TDC Introduces
Powdermaster Line
Technical Development Corporation, a
Huntersville, North Carolina equipment
manufacturer, announces new developments in powder application
machinery.
The new Powdermaster is based
on the highly successful Chalkmaster machine which has sold over
300 units worldwide. The existing, patented powder
application technology of the Chalkmaster has been incorporated
into a new design which includes two improvements suggested by
our customers.
The Powdermaster introduces a
flip top door. Chalkmasters require the use of a special
tool to feed the product through them. The flip top door
of the Powdermaster allows the product to be laid in, a great
advance in ease of use.
The Powdermaster also has a
much larger powder hopper. The Chalkmaster's powder hopper
cannot hold an entire bag of powder, requiring the use of a
scoop. The Powdermaster's hopper has enough capacity that
an entire bag can be poured in, requiring less effort and
providing a cleaner environment since less powder will be
spilled.
North American customers can purchase the
Powdermaster directly from
TDC. Contact Sales Engineer Irv Baston at (770) 537-4685 for
information. For service and parts, contact David Mason at (704) 875-1198,
extension 22. Existing international Chalkmaster agents will continue to represent TDC
in the sale of Powdermasters.
TDC also seeks new agents for areas not currently
represented. Click
