Tape payoffs are used in cable
construction for dialectric purpose or to provide moisture
resistance.
An overall tape wrap is commonly used in twisted pair cable such as
category 3, 5, 5e and 6.

Machine Specifications
- A-B digital AC vector drive (other makes available) and AC induction gear motor
- Ceramic wheels and guides for gentle tape handling
- Wheels and guides are adjustable for different spool widths
- Air chuck accommodates tape spool hubs from 3-3.25 in diameter (custom sizes available)
- Tape spool sizes up to 12" wide and 13" in diameter (custom sizes available)
- Low inertia pneumatic dancer
- Tension accurate within +/- 0.25 lbs.
- Tension range from 0.5 to 5.0 lbs. (higher ranges available)
- Tension adjustment by precision air regulator
- Line speed 0-700 feet per minute (higher speeds require line speed reference)

- Spindle shaft for accommodating tape on spools
- Pancake pad version available with different frame, spool sizes and chucks
